Born and raised in Brooklyn New York City, Shari Hardies, LCSW comes to her clients with cultural competency, a diverse perspective, and an immense appreciation for the human experience. This therapist brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her client’s, striving to make personal connections that foster change. Shari attended St. John’s University, earning an undergraduate degree in Psychology in 1999. After graduating from Colorado State University School of Social Work in 2006, Shari obtained licensure in Clinical Social Work from the State of Colorado. Shari has extensive therapy experience with individual, couples and family therapy, as well as experience navigating the complex community systems that we often need to work within.
Shari has a strong passion for working with people and helping them to form healthy relationships with themselves and others. Shari has had the privilege to treat the communities of Boulder in a variety of therapeutic settings over the last 16 years. Shari has spent her professional experiences constantly being impressed with the amazing transformations that people with emotional,
behavioral and life challenges can do and achieve with the right skills, guidance, and dedication. Shari enjoys working with all clients and utilizes humor, respect, and empathy in all therapeutic relationships.
